You will manage, optimize, and secure enterprise database systems, ensuring high availability and performance for critical applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade database systems including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Design and maintain backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN and point-in-time recovery.
• Tune query performance by analyzing execution plans and optimizing complex SQL joins.
• Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions such as clustering and replication.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell, Shell, or Python scripts.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Strong experience designing stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Proven ability to manage database security, user access controls, and permissions.
• Experience with capacity planning, storage management, and patch management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data modeling and index management.
• Ability to collaborate closely with development teams on database requirements.
