Description

You will manage the full lifecycle of database systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade database systems, managing patching and version upgrades.
• Design and implement backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN and point-in-time recovery.
• Tune query performance, analyze execution plans, and manage index optimization.
• Automate routine DBA tasks using PowerShell, Shell, or Python scripts.
• Collaborate with development teams on data modeling and database-related requirements.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Expert proficiency in SQL, complex joins, and query optimization.
• Strong experience with T-SQL and PL/SQL (stored procedures, functions, triggers).
• Hands-on administration of Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with high availability and disaster recovery (clustering, replication, mirroring).
• Proficiency in database security management, including access controls and roles.
• Ability to perform capacity planning and storage management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data modeling and schema design.
