Description

Manage and optimize database environments across Oracle, Microsoft Azure SQL, and Synapse platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan, configure, maintain, and tune performance for Oracle, Azure SQL, and Synapse databases.
• Develop and optimize complex Oracle PL/SQL programs and data loading scripts.
• Manage database changes using DACPAC and develop Azure CI/CD release pipelines.
• Execute database administration tasks including patching, upgrades, partitioning, and capacity planning.
• Build and test database backup, recovery, and automation scripts.

Required Skills

• Expert Oracle and Microsoft SQL Database administration experience.
• Extensive experience designing and developing complex Oracle PL/SQL programs.
• Demonstrated experience with DACPAC and CI/CD release pipelines.
• Proficiency with git for source code version control, including branching and merging.
• Experience with Azure build automation using Ansible, Terraform, Packer, and VSTS.
• Knowledge of Azure technologies including storage accounts, file shares, Key Vault, and Azure portal.
• Experience working within UNIX and .NET application support environments.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to monitor incidents, debug PL/SQL programs, and provide timely resolutions.
