You will administer, monitor, and maintain ADABAS databases and related Software AG tools to ensure optimal performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to design and implement effective database and system solutions.
• Support development teams working with Natural, Natural One, and legacy mainframe applications.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and implementation to maintain system stability and efficiency.
• Manage and support environments utilizing MVS/JCL, COBOL/CICS, VSAM files, Linux/zLinux, and UNIX.
• Assist in database replication, integration, and data management processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Software AG technologies, including ADABAS, Natural, Natural One, Predict, and Construct.
• Extensive experience with ADABAS database administration and support.
• Strong experience with mainframe environments, including MVS/JCL, COBOL/CICS, and VSAM.
• Experience working with Linux/zLinux and UNIX systems.
• Knowledge of relational database systems and integration tools.
• Experience with system analysis, design, testing, implementation, and quality assurance within enterprise information systems.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures.
