Description

You will manage the implementation, configuration, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems and the SQL Server Data Repository.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SQL Server databases through all lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production.
• Manage the SQL Server Data Repository by executing data loads, performing ETL using SSIS, and applying data modeling techniques.
• Configure and monitor database servers to ensure high availability, security, and system health.
• Support the implementation of the new Azure SQL Server cloud database environment.
• Automate regular processes and document system changes.

Required Skills

• 5-10+ years of MS SQL Server Administration experience.
• 1-2+ years of MS Azure SQL Server Administration experience.
• Expertise in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) using native monitoring tools.
• Hands-on experience with backups, restores, and recovery models.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Proven ability to perform decommissioning and migration of legacy systems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical study.
