Description

You will support and optimize AWS database environments, focusing on consolidation, monitoring, alerting, and security.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS database environments, including Aurora and RDS.
• Lead database consolidation, monitoring, and alerting system setup.
• Support application-specific database needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Inventory and report on cloud-based database environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of strong DBA experience.
• Expertise with AWS DMS (Database Migration Service).
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MariaDB.
• Hands-on experience with AWS RDS and related AWS services.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
• Availability during New York business hours.
