Description

You will manage and optimize DB2 Universal Database environments across Unix, Linux, and Windows platforms, designing target physical models and implementing partitioning strategies to ensure optimal performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current physical data models and access patterns in existing environments.
• Design target state physical models and implement partitioning and cluster keys based on access patterns.
• Design partitioned and clustered tables to optimize performance.
• Utilize migration tools including Big Query for data movement.
• Work in a full-stack capacity with database integration.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in database administration.
• Hands-on experience with DB2 Universal Database (UDB).
• Proficiency with Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Java and Python development.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Big Query for data movement.
