Description

You will manage DB2 LUW databases on Linux platforms to ensure high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and patch DB2 databases across Linux, Unix, and Windows platforms.
• Manage backup and recovery operations, including disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Execute performance tuning for high-scale databases and manage capacity planning.
• Set up data replication using federation, Attunity, or DTShare.
• Automate administrative tasks using shell scripting or Ansible.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a DB2 DBA.
• Expertise in DB2 LUW installation and configuration.
• Deep knowledge of HADR, backup, and recovery.
• Experience with security management and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in shell scripting or Ansible for automation.
• Strong background in database design and version management.
• Experience with data replication tools and federation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
