Description

Manage and support database environments and integrated enterprise applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, and maintain database management servers and software.
• Design and develop database triggers, tables, schemas, objects, and stored procedures.
• Plan and manage the integration and implementation of new technology.
• Solve complex technical problems and provide direction for projects through completion.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Proficiency with Oracle RDBMS and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
• Experience supporting Ellucian Banner and its ancillary systems.
• Strong SQL scripting and development skills.
• Hands-on experience with Linux RedHat and Shell Scripting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and within a team.
• Experience in the analysis and development of applications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with database standards and end-user application support.
