Description

Manage database administration tasks and perform PL/SQL development and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and troubleshoot complex PL/SQL code.
• Tune SQL queries to optimize database performance.
• Manage database design, file systems, access management, and security.
• Execute administrative tasks within LINUX or UNIX environments.
• Create and maintain Bash shell scripts for automation.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in database administration.
• Proficiency in Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Strong PL/SQL development and troubleshooting expertise.
• Advanced SQL query tuning and performance optimization skills.
• Knowledge of database design and file system management.
• Experience with database access management and security protocols.
• Working knowledge of LINUX or UNIX platforms.
• Ability to write Bash shell scripts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Middleware, DevOps platforms, or cross-RDBMS database migrations.
• Knowledge of database backup, restoration, high availability, or disaster recovery.
• Experience with data movement processes such as export and import.
