Description

You will manage and maintain database infrastructure across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and patch components for Oracle, Sybase, and other managed platforms.
• Monitor all system components, including processes, logs, locks, and disk space, ensuring service level uptime.
• Perform database recovery, backup, refresh, performance tuning, and implement security controls.
• Provide routine maintenance, including defect analysis, object management, and managing rollback/temporary space.
• Assist developers by analyzing and tuning SQL queries, and manage data integrity and access controls.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Database Administration.
• Expertise with Oracle, Oracle ASM, and MS SQL Server.
• Proficiency in Linux environment administration.
• Strong scripting skills using Shell and Python.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Familiarity with replication setup, troubleshooting, and failover procedures.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery setup and maintenance.
• Experience with performance analysis and SQL query tuning.
