Description

You will manage and maintain database environments across Oracle, SAP ASE (Sybase), or MSSQL platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute database setup, configuration, patching, and version upgrades or downgrades.
• Manage backup and restore operations using tools like RMAN.
• Perform performance tuning, data reorganization, and user management.
• Handle cross-migrations and new system implementations.
• Conduct ETL processes using tools such as Oracle Expd/Imp or BCP.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of total experience with at least 4 years in a relevant database role.
• Proficiency in at least two of: Oracle, SAP ASE (Sybase), or MSSQL.
• Experience with Linux (RedHat) and/or Windows Server.
• Strong Shell Scripting and SQL-T Scripting skills.
• Hands-on experience with MSSQL Server and MSSQL Server Reporting.
• Ability to use collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Toad for Oracle or SAP ASE (Sybase).
• Knowledge of NetBackup, Puppet, or Ansible.
