Description

Own the development, maintenance, and optimization of complex distributed databases supporting corporate functions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain distributed architecture databases using SQL, VB, and VBA.
• Design, implement, and maintain database objects including tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
• Automate reporting processes and streamline queries to minimize manual effort.
• Troubleshoot database issues and optimize performance through tuning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT experience with at least 2 years in database and application development.
• Strong expertise in SQL with the ability to write complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and SSIS.
• Proficiency in VB, VBA, Access, and Excel.
• Deep understanding of database design practices, including normalization concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
• Ability to evaluate and recommend hardware or software platform upgrades.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex, far-reaching business problems independently.
