Description

You will manage, secure, and optimize database management systems to support mission-critical operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer, test, and implement databases while coordinating all system changes.
• Implement and maintain Oracle Golden Gate replication for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Design and execute backup strategies, recovery plans, and security measures.
• Develop shell scripts to monitor Oracle Golden Gate process status.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and testing phase bugs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years with a Master's degree.
• Experience with Database Management Systems (DBMS).
• Proficiency in designing backup and recovery strategies.
• Experience with Golden Gate replication and disaster recovery solutions.
• Ability to write shell scripts for process monitoring.
• Experience performing root cause analysis (RCA) on production systems.
• Capability to create technical design documentation and work breakdown structures.
• Skill in coordinating deployments within production environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating with release management, infrastructure, and project teams.
• Ability to prepare functional and technical design documents for migration or upgrade projects.
