Description

You will design and develop Microsoft SQL Server data structures to support Child Welfare transformation strategies and data modernization efforts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop database structures and process changes based on specifications from weekly Sprint planning sessions.
• Optimize database interactions using SQL, stored procedures, and ETL processes.
• Implement data security and access models in compliance with Federal CCWIS regulations and legislative mandates.
• Manage database change requests in coordination with developer and Data Resource Management teams.
• Execute data quality initiatives to support data-oriented decision making in practice.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Transact-SQL, SQL, JSON, and Data Analysis.
• 7-9 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Reporting Services, and Business Intelligence.
• 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.
• 4-6 years of experience with C#, MVC, XML, and JavaScript.
• 4-6 years of experience with HTML, CSS, and TCP/IP.
• 7-9 years of experience with design patterns and Windows environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Development Operations.
• Child Welfare experience is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CCWIS design, development, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Agile Software Development processes and requirements elicitation.
• Experience delivering technical solutions in a County, State, or Federal Human Services context.
