Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain relational database solutions.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient database designs.
• Perform database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data integration and migration.
• Ensure data integrity, security, backup, and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to support database-related initiatives.
• Monitor database health and resolve performance issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and maintain database standards.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience as a Database Analyst, Database Programmer, or SQL Developer.
• Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, or T-SQL.
• Hands-on experience with databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with database design, normalization, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of ETL tools and data migration processes.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and reporting tools.
• Experience with database backup, recovery, and security best practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or Google Cloud SQL) is a plus.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is desirable.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
