Description

You will design, build, and maintain relational databases to support the remediation of SAVERR code within the Premiums Payable System and TMTS.

Responsibilities

• Design and build relational databases, data warehouses, and multidimensional databases.
• Develop strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and database implementation.
• Optimize database performance through tuning, troubleshooting, and defect root cause analysis.
• Maintain enterprise data standards and centralized metadata registries.
• Ensure all database administration interfaces and reporting outputs comply with EIR Accessibility standards.

Required Skills

• 6 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting Oracle databases (version 11x, 12x, or later).
• 6 years of experience writing SQL for relational databases.
• 6 years of experience with troubleshooting, performance tuning, and managing database security.
• 6 years of experience writing stored procedures, views, and developing reports or ad-hoc queries.
• 5 years of experience documenting database design, processes, and interfaces.
• 5 years of experience supporting application development on J2EE and WebSphere platforms.
• 5 years of experience working within Agile project management methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with a Client or other State Agency.
