Description

You will design, develop, and support Oracle database environments for state or federal clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and build new Oracle databases, including stored procedures, views, and interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and perform performance tuning for Oracle database instances.
• Manage database security, reporting, and ad-hoc query development.
• Document database designs, processes, and system interfaces.
• Support application development on J2EE and WebSphere platforms using Agile methodologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience working with state or federal clients.
• Expertise with Oracle databases version 11x, 12x, or later.
• Advanced SQL skills for relational database management.
• Experience with J2EE and WebSphere platforms.
• Proficiency in Oracle, SQL, J2EE, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience working within Agile project management frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Prior experience with Texas Health and Human Services or other State Agencies.
