Description

Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of enterprise database structures and business applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain logical and physical database structures using Erwin.
• Perform application and SQL performance analysis, tuning, and capacity planning.
• Develop streamlined processes for database migrations and data synchronization from operational stores to data warehouses.
• Execute database upgrades for DB2 or Oracle environments.
• Create cost-effective solutions for strategic requirements using specific database structures and coding techniques.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience designing DB2 or IDMS database structures for enterprise systems.
• 7+ years of experience with physical database design and CICS design.
• 7+ years of experience with SQL performance analysis and tuning.
• 7+ years of experience writing shell scripts and Unix scripting.
• 7+ years of experience maintaining designs with Erwin.
• 7+ years of experience creating database standards and procedures.
• 7+ years of experience performing DB2 or Oracle upgrades.
• Proficiency in COBOL, SQL, and Java.
• Experience with DB2 z/OS, DB2 LUW, IDMS, and SQL Server.

Preferred Skills

• Experience interfacing between application databases, data warehouses, Cognos, Identity Insight, and DataStage.
