Description

Architect complex data solutions in Azure and Snowflake, leading migrations from on-premises Oracle and SQL Server environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration of existing processes and data from on-premises Oracle and SQL Server to Azure and Snowflake.
• Design and implement end-to-end automated deployment pipelines using CI/CD.
• Build data pipelines to ingest, standardize, and transform data into business-facing datasets using Azure Data Factory.
• Develop an ecosystem of data products, data catalogs, and self-service tools for data exploration.
• Design scalable data architecture for future growth, including data warehousing, streaming analytics, and visualization.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering and building scalable data pipelines (or 8+ years with a Master's degree).
• 4+ years of experience with Azure cloud-based data platforms.
• 4+ years of experience with Snowflake cloud data warehouses.
• Hands-on data modeling experience using Kimball or Inmon methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Experience across the full lifecycle of data analytics development: requirements, architecture, design, testing, and deployment.
• Experience performing unit and integration testing on data pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Strong experience with SQL and Python.
• Proficiency in performance tuning ETL/ELT processes and database solutions for large datasets.
