Description

You will design and implement data models for large-scale data warehouse projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate reporting and analysis requirements into structured data models, including aggregate, pivoted, relational, and dimensional star-schema marts.
• Develop logical, conceptual, and physical data models for multi-terabyte environments.
• Write complex SQL for data extraction and integration, including stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Implement data warehouse loading techniques such as Change Data Capture (CDC) and Slowly Changing Dimensions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience writing complex SQL for DB2 and Oracle environments.
• 7+ years of experience in logical, conceptual, and physical data modeling.
• 7+ years of experience building relational and dimensional (star-schema) marts.
• 7+ years of experience with data warehouse loading techniques, specifically CDC and Slowly Changing Dimensions.
• 7+ years of experience using COGNOS for reporting.
• Expertise in SQL, Cognos, and Data Modeling.
• Experience managing data integration in multi-terabyte databases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DB2 and Oracle database systems.
