Description

You will design and build relational databases, data warehouses, and multi-dimensional systems. You will own the modernization of outdated technology through rigorous systems analysis and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement relational databases, data warehouses, and multi-dimensional systems.
• Develop strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and database implementation.
• Manage database maintenance by removing, archiving, or deleting data to ensure cleanliness.
• Write and implement SQL and stored procedures to modernize outdated technology.
• Conduct systems analysis to support database modernization and enhancements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and manipulating database management systems.
• Expertise in Oracle SQL and SQL Developer.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, including stored procedures and standalone scripts.
• Experience with database conversion and migration projects.
• Proven ability to research, design, code, and test spatial and tabular data.
• Deep knowledge of formal design for relational databases.
• Working knowledge of spatial data and systems.
• Basic understanding of Java.
