You design, lead, and deliver database technology solutions that maximize performance, availability, and maintainability for the organization.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, recommend, and document database solutions to ensure high availability and flexibility.
• Create and maintain best practice and use case documentation for all organizational databases.
• Mentor DBA teams and technical leads to achieve business objectives and improve efficiency.
• Set the technical roadmap by evaluating emerging trends, competitive products, and business needs.
• Triage database system performance issues and provide technical support to internal and external users.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Lead technical experience with three or more of: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL, Snowflake, or MongoDB.
• Proficiency in developing automated processes for routine database maintenance.
• Experience with backup and recovery software and concepts.
• Strong understanding of high availability solutions for database systems.
• Familiarity with cloud database technologies and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing vendor relationships for database-related software and services.
• Ability to work autonomously and coordinate with multiple teams to resolve complex issues.
