Description

You will design and implement cloud-native database solutions in Microsoft Azure to support modernization efforts for highly available, transparent, and auditable public-facing data systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and administer enterprise-grade database systems.
• Integrate database change management into CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps practices.
• Orchestrate and monitor database workflows through cloud-native tools.
• Apply cloud-native design patterns including statelessness, elasticity, and infrastructure-as-code.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience architecting and administering enterprise-grade database systems.
• 2+ years of experience focused on cloud-native database services in Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• Proficiency with Azure Cosmos DB.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Monitor.
• Knowledge of versioned schemas and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and cloud-native design patterns.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Azure Database Administrator Associate certification.
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
• Microsoft DP-203: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.
