Description

Design, manage, and optimize large-scale database environments with a focus on InterSystems technologies and cloud integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize InterSystems IRIS and Cache databases for scalability and reliability.
• Execute complex database migrations, moving on-premises workloads to cloud environments.
• Plan and oversee the consolidation and centralization of databases within large-scale environments.
• Design and implement backup strategies and disaster recovery plans in the cloud.
• Tune database performance through query optimization, indexing strategies, and server configuration.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience managing InterSystems IRIS and Cache databases.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
• Proven expertise in cloud database services, storage solutions, and migration strategies.
• Extensive experience executing multiple database migrations and centralization projects.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Practical knowledge of SQL.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD implementation.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• InterSystems IRIS Certification, specifically InterSystems IRIS System Administration Specialist.
