Description

Automate database and server management tasks within large-scale environments of over 700 servers.

Responsibilities

• Develop PowerShell scripts to import and export data across CSV, XML, and TXT formats.
• Execute SQL instructions to retrieve and send data by connecting directly to SQL instances.
• Deploy configuration changes across OS and SQL layers using serial and parallel processing.
• Manage script execution progress and implement robust error handling for batch processes.
• Reverse engineer existing processes and perform code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in automation or database administration.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting for server connectivity and OS/application setting retrieval.
• Strong T-SQL skills, including developing stored procedures, functions, and complex queries.
• Experience managing SQL Server Availability Groups, CMS, and user permissions.
• Windows Server administration and medium-level OS knowledge.
• Active Directory management, including user accounts, permissions, and Windows groups.
• DNS administration and management of DNS Zones.
• Basic networking knowledge.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Resource Graph Explorer, and KQL.
• Proficiency in Azure PowerShell and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
