Description

Engineer cloud-based solutions for database, data warehouse, and analytics workloads using Azure services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Translate stakeholder requirements into technical roadmaps and deliverable backlog items.
• Develop best practices for Azure Databricks and database implementations.
• Implement SQL PaaS, SQL MI, and SQL IaaS solutions based on end-user requirements.
• Integrate infrastructure services and participate in automation, consolidation, and centralization projects.
• Maintain high-standard technical documentation, build documents, and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Catalog.
• Deep knowledge of Azure Databricks internal architecture.
• Proven experience with data migration and data processing using Azure services.
• Hands-on experience with SQL PaaS, SQL MI, and SQL IaaS.
• Experience securing services using Azure Key Vault.
• Practical knowledge of Lakehouse and Delta Lake architectures.
• Experience with App Insights, DevOps, and CI/CD deployments.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and technical documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting applications and platforms in shared or virtual environments.
• Understanding of IT security concepts within production environments.
