Description

You will manage core database development, support, and migration functions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain database code using PL/SQL.
• Support application business logic and troubleshoot issues via BAU.
• Execute application migration to AWS RDS.
• Tune and monitor database performance.
• Coordinate database patching releases, data copying, and security implementation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database development.
• Expert proficiency in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Strong DBA skills, including Oracle performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Linux and creating shell scripts.
• Familiarity with AWS and RDS.
• Knowledge of Geneos monitoring and Autosys scripts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience interfacing with production DBA and System Administration teams.
