Description

You will design and maintain data warehousing solutions, focusing on SQL Server and Azure platforms. Your work ensures data integrity, performance, and reliable integration across systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize ETL routines using SSIS and Azure Data Factory to move, cleanse, and transform large data volumes.
• Design database objects, including tables, views, indexes, and security models, while managing source-to-target mappings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and data architects to translate business requirements into technical data models and analytic reports.
• Lead junior developers in data integration efforts, providing technical enablement and mentoring on cloud platform development.
• Monitor data quality, troubleshoot performance issues in Azure, and manage deployments using GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data warehousing and business intelligence.
• 5+ years of expertise in Microsoft SQL Server with advanced T-SQL and stored procedure development.
• 5+ years of experience with SSIS and ETL design patterns.
• 3-5 years of experience with Azure Data Factory, SQL VMs, and cloud ETL development.
• Strong understanding of relational database design, data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical), and operational data stores.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data processing tasks.
• Experience with Azure database tools, including Azure Data Studio and Azure Analytics Studio.
• Familiarity with MySQL and data lake ingestion techniques.
