Description

Design, implement, and maintain database objects and security to support large-scale data integration and warehousing.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into data mapping, cleansing, and transformation routines for large datasets.
• Design and maintain tables, views, and indexes while optimizing performance through tuning and parallelization.
• Collaborate with Data Architects to develop optimal data models and establish metadata governance processes.
• Ensure data quality through proactive monitoring, audit controls, and automated cleansing techniques.
• Manage scheduled data processes, perform deployments, and coordinate releases using CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence.
• 3+ years of BI development leveraging Microsoft SQL Server.
• Expert-level T-SQL proficiency and 5+ years of experience with SSIS and Stored Procedures.
• 2+ years of experience with PowerBI.
• Strong expertise in data modeling, including conceptual, logical, and physical design for ODS, Enterprise Data Warehouses, and Data Marts.
• Deep understanding of relational database design and SQL programming.
• Experience using GitHub for source version control and working within CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to mentor junior developers and provide technical enablement.

Preferred Skills

• 1-2 years of experience with Azure Data Warehouse (Synapse).
• 1-2 years of experience with Azure Data Factory, SQL VMs, and building ETL/Data Lakes.
