Description

You will design, implement, and maintain database objects and security while managing large-scale data integration across multiple platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop data integration routines to move, cleanse, and transform large datasets between systems using ETL design patterns.
• Design and maintain database objects including tables, views, and indexes to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate business requirements into data models and source-to-target mappings.
• Optimize batch processing through parallelization and performance tuning to maintain data warehouse integrity.
• Lead small teams of junior developers in data integration efforts and provide technical enablement for cloud-based database applications.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data warehousing and business intelligence.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and expertise in T-SQL.
• 5+ years of experience using SSIS and stored procedures.
• 3-5 years of experience with Azure Data Factory, SQL VMs, and ETL development.
• Deep understanding of relational database design and data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical).
• Experience with Azure Cloud, Azure Data Studio, and Azure Analytics Studio.
• Proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, and source version control using GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience ingesting and aggregating data from internal and external sources to build data lakes.
• Ability to provide on-call support to maintain 24/7 application availability.

Preferred Skills

• 1-2 years of experience with Azure Synapse.
• 1-2 years of experience using Python, PySpark, and SparkSQL on Azure Cloud.
