Description

You will design, implement, and maintain database objects, security, and data integration workflows across Oracle, SQL Server, and Azure SQL platforms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into data analysis, mapping, and integration routines for moving and cleansing large datasets.
• Develop data integration workflows using ETL design patterns, error handling, and parallelization for performance tuning.
• Design and maintain database objects including tables, views, and indexes while ensuring data integrity through audit controls.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, investigate anomalous behavior in Azure, and manage deployments via GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead small teams of junior developers in data integration efforts and provide technical enablement for cloud-based database applications.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data warehousing and business intelligence.
• 5+ years of BI development using Microsoft SQL Server and expert-level T-SQL.
• 5+ years of experience with SSIS and stored procedures.
• 3-5 years of experience with Azure Data Factory, SQL VMs, and ETL development.
• Proficiency with SQL, Oracle, and Azure Cloud environments.
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
• Experience building data lakes by ingesting and aggregating data from internal and external sources.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• 1-2 years of experience with Azure Synapse.
• 1-2 years of experience using Python, PySpark, and SparkSQL on Azure Cloud.
