Description

You will design, develop, and manage large-scale database environments and complex data models.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain tables, views, procedures, functions, and packages.
• Execute complex relational database queries using SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Monitor database systems to ensure security, minimize downtime, and manage patching and upgrades.
• Optimize database performance and scaling using Aurora replication and AWS CloudWatch.
• Implement ETL processes and manage data through CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database development or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL using AWS RDS for PostgreSQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Aurora, Glue, Batch, and CloudWatch.
• Strong background in data modeling and database design.
• Experience with Python, including Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation.
• Ability to use SQLAlchemy and PyODBBC for database interaction.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and Git repositories.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Big Data, data mining, machine learning, and natural language processing.
