Description

You will develop and maintain database systems focused heavily on PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, normalize, and create database schemas.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Tune database performance by analyzing indexing and query execution plans.
• Manage database operations including backup, recovery, and replication.
• Automate maintenance and deployment tasks using scripting.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience as a Database Developer.
• Expert proficiency in PostgreSQL.
• Strong command of SQL and MS SQL.
• Experience with query optimization and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash and Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, including WAL and Postmaster.
• Experience with database security best practices and cloud solutions.
• Experience using tools such as pgAdmin and psql.
