Description

You will develop, maintain, and migrate software applications and data systems, owning the full lifecycle from design to production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, unit test, and review Java-based software applications and microservices.
• Analyze and migrate legacy application code to modern technologies while ensuring compliance with Blackduck vulnerability scans.
• Execute data modeling, transformations, and root cause analysis for production issues.
• Support infrastructure upgrades and lead development efforts on smaller assignments.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience with Java 1.8/J2EE, Servlets, JSP, JMS, and JDBC.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle DB, SQL, and ORM frameworks (Hibernate, iBatis, or MyBatis).
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and SOAP/REST Web Services.
• Familiarity with Kafka, microservices architecture, and API design patterns.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux, bash/shell scripting, and Tomcat server management.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including GIT, Ant/Maven, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of file transmission protocols (FTP, FTPs, SFTP, NDM) and schedulers (Quartz, Autosys).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Pentaho data integration (Kettle) ETL tools.
• UI technologies such as Angular JS, React JS, JavaScript, or HTML.
