Description

You will design, develop, and optimize enterprise-wide database objects and systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze database requirements from users, applications, and operations to provide technical feedback.
• Design, configure, and test new business systems data stores, including physical structure and security.
• Develop and optimize stored procedures and automate manual processes.
• Perform performance tuning to improve slow-running queries and jobs.
• Document system details and maintenance processes while training DBAs as needed.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience as a Database Developer.
• Expertise in PL/SQL.
• Extensive experience with Oracle database.
• Proven ability in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Strong skills in data modeling and physical database design.
• Experience defining backup and recovery processes.
• Knowledge of the development and deployment of enterprise-wide databases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Background in the healthcare industry.
• Experience interfacing between business groups and IT teams.
