Description

You will own database development and data cleansing tasks for a critical system.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clone database environments in the Baxter DMZ for cleansing validation.
• Develop data filtration scripts to exclude SIMTRA data from Baxter and Vantive data streams.
• Analyze database structure and create scripts to clean SIMTRA data across all tables in Bloomington and Halle Data.
• Draft data verification scripts and perform regression testing to ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare documentation detailing system setup for Vantive integration and access.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database development.
• Advanced technical knowledge of Java modules and frameworks, including web services, Hibernate, and JMS.
• Strong command of SQL queries, capable of writing complex queries in Oracle or MS SQL.
• Experience with Java EE servers such as Oracle WebLogic Server, Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform, or IBM WebSphere Application Server.
• Solid understanding of the Build/Deployment Process.
• Familiarity with LIMS development and configuration skills.
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jasper Reports.
