Description

You will develop and maintain relational databases, including backend rules, data scripts, and security protocols.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain database objects such as table structures, procedures, views, indexes, and constraints.
• Coordinate new data development to ensure consistency and integration with existing structures.
• Analyze information needs, data relationships, attributes, and storage requirements.
• Manage changes to data dictionaries and entity relationship diagrams for ALMIS and CG-LIMS systems.
• Author technical documentation, including specifications, special instructions, and regression test plans.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of related database analysis or development experience.
• Proficiency with SQL.
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Experience with Ingres databases.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with USCG ALMIS, ACMS, EAL, or CG-LIMS.
