Description

You will design, plan, and execute database migration projects across multiple platforms, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute migration strategies for Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) for large-scale datasets.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security throughout the migration process.
• Optimize database performance and resolve complex schema issues post-migration.
• Troubleshoot migration errors and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database development and migration projects.
• Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Proficiency in ETL processes and data modeling.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Scripting skills in Python or Shell.
• Familiarity with cloud database environments (AWS/Azure).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale data migrations.
