You will manage data management practices, ensuring the security and integrity of information assets across the organization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage company data management practices and policies.
• Perform database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Create high-quality, optimized stored procedures and queries.
• Execute remediation of reporting hygiene issues.
• Mentor technical skills within the team and drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of experience working with relational databases.
• Deep expertise in DB2 Linux or Sybase.
• Proficiency in scripting on Linux platforms using Perl, Python, or Unix/K-Shell.
• Strong knowledge of relational database performance tuning, including indices, database statistics, reorgs, and memory management.
• Understanding of de-normalization concepts and database configurations.
• Ability to evaluate data storage, processing, and transmission to ensure compliance with privacy standards like GDPR and CCPA.
• Experience identifying and reporting security risks to protect data confidentiality and availability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Greenplum or Data Lake environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and the Finance domain.
