Design and develop data models across conceptual, logical, and physical layers to support business needs.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with finance, operations, risk, legal, compliance, and front office stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements.
• Translate business functionality requirements into concrete data concepts, models, and data products.
• Ensure data models meet standards for data integrity, performance, and security.
• Create and maintain data model documentation, including data dictionaries and metadata.
• Conduct data profiling and analysis to pinpoint data quality issues.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Modeler or in a similar capacity at an asset manager or financial firm.
• Strong understanding of buy-side financial firm business concepts.
• Required understanding of Private Markets (Private Credit, Private Equity, Real Estate, Alternatives).
• Strong knowledge of database design principles and data modeling techniques (e.g., ER modeling, dimensional modeling).
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• 2 years of tenure in similar roles.
