Description

Manage database development, administration, and optimization for MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to support application development and data manipulation.
• Perform database tuning and optimization to enhance query performance and reduce response time.
• Implement database changes and upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
• Monitor systems regularly, resolving performance issues and ensuring high availability.
• Develop security processes, manage access controls, and automate recurring database tasks.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in database development and administration.
• Strong proficiency in MySQL (1+ years) and PostgreSQL (3+ years).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure SQL Database and SQL Server.
• Ability to install, upgrade, and manage database applications and servers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors and performance bottlenecks.
• Experience creating database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
