Description

You will design, develop, and maintain databases and complex reporting solutions for financial applications. Your focus is on data transformation, integration, and accessibility across on-premise and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient SQL code and data warehouses.
• Develop and maintain data transformation processes for Janney's Data Warehouses.
• Enhance data movement between on-premise and cloud-based data stores.
• Create complex reporting and analytical solutions for financial applications.
• Ensure seamless data integration and accessibility using cloud data management platforms.

Required Skills

• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server Application and Database tools, including SSIS and SSRS.
• Profound hands-on experience in Snowflake Platform Architecture and Development/DBA.
• Experience with Snowflake features: Snow SQL, Snow Pipe, Tasks, Streams, Time travel, Zero Copy Cloning, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures.
• Proficiency in Python for data development tasks.
• Minimum of five years’ experience as a Database Developer.
• Strong understanding of on-premise and off-premise data architecture concepts, design, and testing methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• AWS experience, including EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, and Lambda in database contexts.
• Experience in wealth management or financial services.
• Knowledge of Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB.
