Description

Manage and optimize data infrastructure using PostgreSQL and AWS cloud services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support PostgreSQL environments across versions 11 through 16.
• Develop and execute scripts, stored procedures, functions, and triggers using PL/pgSQL.
• Design and implement complex data models, including tables and views.
• Maintain data integrity, consistency, and security across all database objects.
• Utilize AWS services to manage data storage and processing workflows.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in database development.
• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL versions 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16.
• Proficiency in PL/pgSQL for scripting and programming.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, Step Functions, Lambda, Aurora, and RDS.
• Competency with development tools such as pgAdmin or DBeaver.
• Strong ability to work with complex data models and various database object types.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS Aurora-Postgres.
• Knowledge of database security best practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
