Description

Design, implement, and manage relational database architectures.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relational data models, tables, views, functions, triggers, and stored procedures.
• Manage database administration tasks including architecture design, backup, and recovery.
• Troubleshoot and debug Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, and complex joins.
• Identify and resolve backend blocking sessions and performance bottlenecks.
• Optimize long-running queries through tuning and performance analysis.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in relational database development and implementation.
• Proficiency with Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server.
• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, DDL, and DML.
• Advanced SQL query writing and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience with database modeling and architecture design.
• Ability to manage database components including indexes, grants, and stored procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Control-M or similar job scheduling tools.
