Description

Design, implement, and manage relational database architectures, focusing on performance tuning and administration.

Design and maintain relational data models, tables, views, functions, triggers, and stored procedures. Manage database administration tasks including architecture design, backup, and recovery. Troubleshoot and debug Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, and complex joins. Identify and resolve backend blocking sessions and performance bottlenecks. Optimize long-running queries through tuning and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relational data models and database objects.
• Manage database administration tasks including backup and recovery.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex SQL queries and stored procedures.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in relational database development and implementation.
• Proficiency with Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server.
• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, DDL, and DML.
• Advanced SQL query writing and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience with database modeling and architecture design.
• Ability to manage database components including indexes, grants, and stored procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Control-M or similar job scheduling tools.
