Description

Design, develop, and optimize complex database structures and large-scale data processing workflows. You will own the release pipeline for database objects and ensure high availability for multi-terabyte environments.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain medium to complex SQL queries within MySQL and Oracle environments.
• Perform performance tuning on Oracle, MySQL, Hive, and Spark SQL statements.
• Develop and manage Oracle objects including packages, procedures, and functions.
• Debug complex data issues and optimize queries for multi-terabyte databases.
• Manage data workflows within Big Data ecosystems including Hive, Impala, and HDFS.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in MySQL and Oracle development.
• 5+ years of experience in Big Data technologies (Hive, Impala, Spark SQL, HDFS).
• 3+ years of experience with Unix and shell scripting.
• Proven experience working with large-scale databases exceeding 3TB.
• Deep understanding of Oracle architecture and object development.
• 1+ year of experience in the investment banking or financial sector.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle Cloud.

Preferred Skills

• Strong debugging skills for complex data environments.
