Description

You will design, develop, and maintain large-scale SQL Server database structures and T-SQL code.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise database structures and T-SQL code for million-row tables.
• Build and maintain Business Intelligence projects using SSIS and SSRS.
• Develop automation tools and troubleshooting scripts for Operational DBAs.
• Manage code and database objects using source control tools like TFS.
• Collaborate with internal groups, vendors, and customers to design solutions and support code releases.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Microsoft SQL experience, including 4 years in enterprise environments and 4 years of programming.
• Expertise in T-SQL, including coding against million-row tables.
• Extensive experience with MS SQL Server 2014, 2016, or newer.
• Proficiency with SSIS and SSRS.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Basic and/or C#/.NET, specifically within ETL packages.
• Ability to perform query performance tuning in a SQL Server environment.
• Experience with source control tools such as TFS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of IBM DB2, AWS, or Azure DevOps.
