Description

You will design, develop, and maintain relational databases and big data processing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage relational databases using Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Develop ETL pipelines and data integration solutions using PySpark.
• Implement and maintain Databricks solutions for big data processing and analytics.
• Optimize SQL queries, indexing, and database performance for large-scale workloads.
• Automate database processes and ensure security, backups, and disaster recovery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database development.
• Proficiency with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Subject matter expertise in PySpark and Databricks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based architectures including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with ETL development and managing database structures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database and data pipeline issues.
• Experience developing technical documentation for ETL workflows and database structures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure or GCP specific data services.
• Strong background in SQL query optimization.
