Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Developer with expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL, along with Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in PySpark and Databricks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining database solutions while leveraging big data frameworks and cloud-based analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and manage relational databases using Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Optimize SQL queries, indexing, and database performance tuning.
• Develop ETL pipelines and data integration solutions using PySpark.
• Implement and maintain Databricks solutions for big data processing and analytics.
• Work with cloud-based data architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Ensure database security, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define data solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for database structures, ETL workflows, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database and data pipeline issues in a timely manner.
• Automate database processes and optimize performance for large-scale data workloads
